So I am 2 weeks into my fitness kick and I would say it has been easy but that would be a lie. It has been painful I have been spending a lot of time cooking, mainly because I am terrible at it but the benefit is that I feel as if I am improving at it as I go. One of the most painful parts is that I have been to the gym just 3 times and my body still aches so badly. The first gym session gave a false sense of confidence making me think that it wasn't that bad... then 2 hours later the aches and the pain.

My main problem thus far has been motivation and instruction, I tried to lay everything out so I had clear direction but didn't think far enough ahead. So my plan as described in the first post was clear: Eat home cooked meals, walk 10000 steps each day and go to the gym consistently. The first couple of steps worked out pretty well as they were easy steps to follow, but then going to the gym was the problem, it seemed that it was pretty clear instruction. The problem came when I was figuring out what to do at the gym, I haven't really ever been to the gym consistently with a goal so I just didn't know what I was doing. I think in the future I am going to go to the gym with someone as a bit of external motivation. I mentioned that motivation was a big problem, I have a major problem with procrastination so I have been watching people like David Goggins and other really motivational people online.

I am going to try to stay consistent for the next few weeks and see what improvements I make.
