Hmmm...blog

Many years ago in grade school I competed in "Ready Writing".  3 previously undisclosed topics were written on the Blackboard. We were instructed to choose one and write an essay. In training for competition we were instructed to relate the topic to something about which we were passionate.

I am passionate about Jesus Christ. I have come to see the Bible as the only reliable source of Truth. Both the KJV Old Testament and New Testament testify of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is like a puzzle with a picture of Jesus on the box. Like any other puzzle, one starts with the easy border pieces and works inward looking for pieces that fit. This is why faith is required. Who would actually work a puzzle knowing all the pieces didn't fit? Knowing all the pieces fit perfectly allows one to set aside the pieces that don't seem to fit and focus on the ones that do until the puzzle is complete. Just keep looking to the picture on the box.

The Bible comes together perfectly as one picture because it is One Book telling One Story from One Author. The Bible is literally God expressing himself to mankind throughout history for all to see his nature and who He is. God tells us over and over again who He is in so many different ways and we still don't get it.

God doesn't change. Human nature doesn't change. Satan and his same minions have been wreaking havoc with mankind for 6000 years. Just about everything that ever happened in the Bible is still happening today which makes It more relevant now than ever.

God creates. Satan perverts. Satan wants to be God and mimics God in every way he can through science and "illumination". Scripture tells us God will do nothing except he tell his servants the prophets first. Satan mimics this too. The Bible is presented largely in visions and parables, thinly veiled truth. God gets his message out through prophets, preachers, and teachers. Satan does this to getting his message out through Hollywood, Sports, music, and other entertainment venues. Satan has even hijacked Christianity in the form of organized religion.

However, I am witness that Jesus Christ is alive and well today and still does all the things He did when He walked the Earth in a fleshly body. Jesus Christ is a Supernatural being and where He is Supernatural things happen.

Prove it? Absolutely impossible. I can testify to this fact too.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Luke:16:31

Scripture must be fulfilled.

It's not for everyone. For those who will hear, my posts tie different parts of the Bible together and often scripture interprets scripture.

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isaiah:28:13

The Bible is written in this manner and just as Jesus Christ pulled it together for us when he walked the Earth, the Holy Spirit does it now.

And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

Luke:24:32
