The first installment of Covid recovery

I am officially sixteen days post symptoms and very fortunate for the recovery. Where I contracted it was on a plane flying to Grand Rapids from Miami.

My cousin recently transferred to Miami for a job and we talked about me coming down to spend a week at her new apartment. I knew a week away from the cold weather in Michigan would do me some good, and with her being gone for most of the day, I was able to utilize her apartment to work on my e-commerce website.

I arrived on a Monday morning and didn't go out much aside from walking her dog and to the grocery store. She wakes up at 5:00 am every morning, out the door by 6:00 am and I am up shortly after to start my day. It was a treat to have the whole place to myself, a routine, a yoga mat, meditation, coffee, and my computer to work on www.chillasacow.com.

We made the decision to hire a boat for Saturday inviting a few friends to come along for the ride to enjoy the sunshine, waves, and breeze cruising around the bay. I made sure to keep my distance, carried my own drinks, used my own cups, and took the best precautions I could take for that day.

The day was fun and everyone had a good time. The girls respected my boundaries and I felt comfortable with my surroundings despite the pandemic still in full swing. We split up that evening going to two different places and I caught an Uber around 11:30 pm to make my way back to the apartment to shower and call it a night. Sunday my cousin and I didn't do anything aside from watch mindless movies and eat leftovers. Monday she was back at work and I spent the day again working on my computer prior to me heading to the airport at 6:00 pm to meet up with my boyfriend and catch the lone flight back to Grand Rapids. This is where we think we (my boyfriend and I) contracted the virus.
