The Spanish Flu is by far one of the most largest epidemic that has ever occurred in actual human history. So back in 1918, approximately from 50 to 100 million people died of this epidemic world wide. But that is pretty strange that this occurs suddenly out of the blue. There are several details that many people doesn’t even know or won’t even tell you the actual cause of the majority of death for those who are in the mid 20’s of their age. Normally, this influenza type A (HN1N virus) would infect children and even elders but such thing does not occur epidemically to those who are at the ages of 20’s around. (not saying it is impossible for them to get infected). The virus was not really the direct real cause of so many deaths. The virus was technically involved but it was not the cause of deaths. Recently, they dug up some bodies from the 1918’s time period and what they have found is that the majority of so many deaths has to do with superinfection (which the bacteria is involved with it), and also Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). What ARDS really is, is that the lungs are filled with fluids, so what happens is that the alveoli in the lungs which exchanged the oxygen and carbon dioxide is filled up with fluid and the fluid got outside the lungs and so the person got drownded by the fluid and died.
So I am going to explain what happened four years ago before 1918, there was world war 1 which is world wide, during that time, there was a huge shift of diet, the soldiers and other people were eating canned foods, and guess what? For example, zinc which is an important mineral is depleted around 80 to 90% total from the canned foods, and what is zinc? That is a very important mineral for the immune system. They had to eat canned foods because it had to be transported and these foods were preserved by canning them. So this means that many people, the soldiers, those who are at home had very low nutrient deficiencies, by consuming canned foods. If you are creating nutrients deficiencies for 4 years long, you increase the susceptibility to get any infection. Now here comes another interesting part, which month did the Spanish flu occurred? It was January, now why is this interesting? Because January is the peak of the month for vitamin D deficiency, because of winter and very lack of sunlight. Vitamin D is VITAL for the immune system, especially for the adrenal glands to produce steroids which are anti-inflammatory. Vitamin D innervates every single white blood cell in the body. So without vitamin D, the risk factor to get ARDS is high, because vitamin D is also important for the lungs as well.
I am going to share this study which is a PDF J Autoimmun. 2017 Aug;82:13-30. doi: 10.1016/j.jaut.2017.06.001. Epub 2017 Jun 16. Seasonality and autoimmune diseases: The contribution of the four seasons to the mosaic of autoimmunity.

If you scroll down in the PDF you can see a list of chart of 4 total seasons. As you can see, the winter season is what causes vitamin D deficiency according to this study, and increases the risk of rotavirus infection, streptococci, epstein-barr virus, upper respiratory tract infection, autoimmune such as MS, type one diabetes, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Only because of vitamin D deficiency by winter season due to lack of sunlight. Now, why did so many people at the mid 20’s of their ages, died? Why so many? Well that is because bayer which is a pharmaceutical company such as bayer aspirin ran out of patterns so a lot of other companies came in for making aspirin supplements. The problem of aspirin, they did not know about the deadly toxic effect of aspirin back then, so they were giving high dose of aspirin of around 1300 milligrams per 1 hour in total 12 long hours, that is very bad because high dose of aspirin increases the risk of pulmonary edema which also causes the fluids in the lungs which is the most common side effects by aspirin and another side effect of aspirin is increasing the bacteria load, so it even increases the risk of more infections. So what did we learned today? Nutrients deficiencies caused by canned foods, vitamin D deficiency and the aspirin toxicity combined together are the actual true cause of death in millions of people. There you go. So what is important for all of us? To have enough nutrients in the body every single day and especially go outside so that the sun can help your body to make vitamin D for the immune system.
