Severe Weather From Indiana to Ohio - Leaving a Trail of Destruction

AP reports severe damage in BROOKVILLE, Ohio.

According to the National Weather Service, at least half a dozen communities from eastern Indiana through central Ohio suffered damage, though authorities working through the night had reported no fatalities as of early Tuesday.

Approximately 5 million people were without power early Tuesday in Ohio alone.

In Iowa shortly before 2 PM local time, a tornado was reported to have gone through Lime Springs in Howard County. Power lines were knocked down as a result. Rescue crews and volunteers later conducted house-to-house searches.

Damaging tornado reports also came in from Greenleafton, Minnesota, located in the southeastern portion of the state. The Harmony Fire Department reported damage to several structures, including a barn

In addition, several tornadoes were reported to have touched down in Indiana.

Residents of the Central states will face yet another round of severe weather and the threat for tornadoes coming forward.
