The  Spinetail Devil Ray or also known as the spinetail Mobula Ray or Japanese Mobula Ray is a species of ray that can be found in the Indo-pacific and eastern Atlantic oceans and is listed as near-threatened. 

Reasons for near-threatened status - Overfishing, bycatching.

Conservation efforts - They live in Aquariums.

Native Locations: Indo-pacific oceans, eastern Atlantic ocean
