The Red Hartebeest or also known as the Cape Hartebeest is a subspecies of hartebeest native to Africa and is listed as least concern on the endangered species list. 

Reasons for least concern status - Hunting, habitat destruction

  • They live in protected areas

Height:  1.35 m        Length: 1.5 - 2.45 m        Horns:  60 cm

Conservation status: Least Concern (LC)
