The Yellow Mud Turtle or also known as the Yellow-necked Mud Turtle is a species of turtle native to the United States and Mexico and is listed as least concern on the endangered species list.

Reasons for least concern status - Habitat destruction, lower water tables, and withdrawal of water from aquifers.

Conservation efforts - They live in protected areas.
