Banner Art Commission
In the spirit of the recent Minds rejuvenation effort, I have taken on a project. I am creating a comprehensive guide to explain all aspects of MINDS tokens. I realize that there’s a lot of ignorance on token investment, and I want to change that. This guide will even cover adjacent topics like economics and cryptocurrency in general.
The guide will be written across various blog articles posted to the dedicated guide group page. I want these articles to not only be informative, but to look presentable as well. I also want to increase the sense of community on the platform. We have a lot of stellar personalities and artists here, but new users won’t necessarily encounter them.
I was thinking about showcasing Minds artists across the various articles I’ll be posting. For every article, I could highlight a different artist’s work in the blog banner. That way, new users with a possible interest in tokens can see just what kind of culture we offer here. If you are interested in contributing to this project, please sign up by posting in the comments and/or tagging me.
Of course, I am not expecting free artwork. I would be offering a 1,000 token art commission to artists that contribute. That’s around $24 at the time of writing this. I am open to discussing your fee.
This project is meant to promote Minds, so this offer is only open to Minds users, and the commission will only be paid in MINDS tokens.
1,000 tokens will be the minimum pay, regardless of the increase in the price of tokens. If tokens go up to $1 each… well then that’s a nice pay day.
Banner dimensions are 930px by 500px. Pictures outside of these dimensions will be auto-cropped by the file uploader.
You are free to sign your piece, but even if you don’t, you will be given credit within the article itself.
Below are the articles I plan on writing. If you have an idea for a banner for any of these articles, send me your proposal. I can designate you as the banner artist for that article. Topics with user tags have already been designated to someone.
If you want to be apart of this project, but don’t have any ideas, inform me in the comments. I can pick a topic for you and give you some direction.
If you don’t want to create an original piece, you can always suggest one of your previous pieces. I will still pay the 1,000 tokens for the contribution.
The artwork doesn’t necessarily have to concretely represent the article. If you just want to contribute an art piece that is more generic or abstract, that would be fine. I can give more for piece that’s on topic, though.
I predict it will take me between half a year to a whole year to complete all the articles. Artwork and tokens will be exchanged shortly before the debut of each respective article. You won’t be paid right when you sign up, but when I get to your designated article.
The articles will be debuted in just about this order. More articles may be added, the articles may change, and the order may be switched.
