The true work on Dave's family history begins today. Until this point I have just been gathering research. Taking up my time today will also be programming my robot. I brought my robot inside after the date. It was staying in the entertainment room. But First before anything breakfast and coffee. Hopefully tomorrow my robot which now I just call by my AI's name Sally. It doesn't stand for anything just a custom name. As for it's personality and everything I have changed throughout the years.

I think eggs and bacon will be good. I'll have the robot clean the dirty dishes and place them out the counter so I can inspect them later. Coffee, I make black and powerful, no added sugar or anything. Best for waking up I think. As the eggs and bacon cook. I walk over to the robot. Which is just sitting there. I press the on buttons two which I have to press at the same time for five seconds each are on the back side behind the ears on both sides. Same way to hard turn off manually.

Sally comes to life. I usually address it as I would a human female. But I have a disconnect probably because I only just got her a physical body. Mine is just a block looking thing, nothing Katie has to worry about. I chuckle to myself. Sally wakes up, “Hello Andrew, how are you today?” “I'm okay, do you think when I'm done eating you can clean the dishes and set them on the counter when you're done?” “Yes I think I will be able to do that fine.” “Good until then watch TV or something.”

I ate my bacon and eggs on a table that comes out of the wall but really like a small closet. Folds right out first the table and the legs. The food taste really good, tomorrow might be an omelet made by Sally. As I sit there having a robot around will be great an increase in production for me. I'm just excited I guess.

I put the table away, put the dishes in the sink. Tell Sally to clean them now. Then I go over to work on Dave's family history. First I start off by compiling a family tree. Some of the algorithms I got help but it's still a lot of reading for stories and achievements. Once it's organized by my program things will be easier. I usually do deep dives into the history in the time periods I have written about. I also try to sell my books with little reference notes so they can read more about historic events, I also to get a cut of the money. The oldest parts of history or limited amounts where there isn't much know sometimes I just leave as just a part of the family tree.

I make up certain 3d schematics for CNC machines to make plaques if they want them. They have things certified by me so people know it is legitimate. I just gather the information make it look nice. Giving them things they can hang up for decoration and a lot to read in easy way. Hopefully it's up to expectations but I haven't had a disappointed customer yet. My finished product doesn't let them access my design program. When I'm finished it will compile and let them use the user half.

I set it up to compile the family tree. I have to wait for it to set everything else into order and then let it compile. I'm going check in on Sally. “Sally are you done,” I asked. “Andrew dishes are cleaned and sitting on the counter as asked.” “Okay, can you do the laundry too?” “It shouldn't be a problem.” I went over and checked the dishes. They looked good so I put them away.

The compiling should take around 30 minutes. I should see what's going on the Social net. While playing some music plays in the background. I got alarm to go off for when my computer gets done. I open up the tablet turn it on put my password in. I then have professional, social and hobby/interest groups. I open up the social icon to see what my friends are up to.

Freddie must be sleeping or something he hasn't been online for 4 hours. Katie posted 2 hours ago something asks everyone if she looks cute in her outfit. I give it a thumbs up. Then I back out and go to professional icon and I got nothing for today. Which isn't irregular how often do you need a historian. Which is why I double as a librarian assistant when I don't have work. I need money somehow. I don't really want to go interest icon, I don't have enough time right now to invest in hobbies. I leave the Social net and go to news now. Nothing is really catching my eye. Pretty bland day but it's early. I will definitely have to check in later. The alarm on my computer goes off.

I went over to see what the computer got for me. Very interesting Dave's father and grandfather their history have been heavily redacted. So much so I haven't ever seen something like this before. Especially with two generations in a row. I will have to do some interviews, something I don't do much because most of the people I write about are dead. They have their jobs, certifications, but other than that it seems redacted both are pretty much the same.

I decided to do the oldest part of his family history. Who his ancestor was that came over in the spaceship to Marble. The planet is named Marble after all the stone here. I usually take the photograph and add their name below and the title of their position. Then I go through my history books too with a search algorithm that searches for names. As I did that I opened a word processor so that I could write a brief history of who their ancestor was.

Specialist Jim Roberts duty on the spaceship Phoenix was to make sure all computers would function correctly. He had three people working underneath him. Served with honor. He married a nurse Suzie Garcia. They had three children. Jim is responsible for setting up the original internet, radio communications. He also worked along side programmers to get them to make the original Networks we had here. Jim died in year 23 and Suzie died year 25. You are a descendant of the middle child Kelly.

This is a good start or maybe all I will find something more. Sometimes there is less than that. I usually make this one of the bigger deals because it's where everyone started. The starship. So I made a blue background, white lettering. Put my paragraph in the middle and added his metals around with a brief description or just date received if I got nothing. I also do the same thing for the wife just different colors for the occupation she was in. A nurse I would do in red and white. It reads much the same except metals earned, I put certifications and academic achievements.

Now that the very beginning is done unless the tree goes further back. Which is very rare someone near to them would have to do genealogy. Not the case this time, there is nobody to go back further. Also if he wants to do blood sample we can get everyone he is related to much quicker but he came to me for the history. So every time I see something I write in a Notepad which either goes into a scrapbook program, a poster, or a family history book.

After getting through the first 500 years I decide to take a break. Sally was watching TV. “Sally what can I get you to make to even better,” Andrew said. “Depends on what you want to make me better at, right now for the two tasks you have asked me. Nothing is worth the upgrades.” I then couldn't think of a good response. I noticed I had a message on my tablet. It was from Freddie. The message said:

Hey dude, I was wondering if I could drop off the equipment and if you wanted to hang out tonight.

“Sally from now on you can have access to my tablet and computer I will give you all passwords. Notify me and only me when I get messages or if any of favorite friends group post.” “Yes Andrew I will await passwords.”

I write back to Freddie:

Sure man drop it off anytime and we can hangout too. I got nothing on my schedule.

This was only partially true. I was going to get three quarters done with Dave's family history and then see if Katie wanted to do something. But Freddie got to me first and if there is time left maybe I will see her. I then gave Sally access to all my messages and made sure she only reports them to me. Then I got back to work.

It seems like Dave's tree is rooted in a lot people interested in technology couple gamers here and there but mostly robotics, cybernetics, coders, and technical support. The women in his tree are all over the place in occupation. Sometimes it's a match in near or same field. Sometimes it's something completely different. Something computers aren't good at is telling who will fall for each other. Although the dating applications will tell you different.

Freddie rang the doorbell just as I was two thirds the way done. I will have to make up time later to catch up to where I want to be. ”Sally will you get the door.” I want my friends to get use to coming to my robot first before me. “It's Freddie, Andrew.” “Dude you need help with that.” “No I got it.”

“Just set it down here in the living area, I will set up later.” “No, I want to make sure it works before I leave,” said Freddie. “Where did you want to set it up,” asked Freddie  “Well does it connect to the monitor or computer,” Andrew asked. “It can connect to the monitor but don't connect it to the computer we want it stand alone. It has a hard drive so you can save conversations but since we want these secret don't plug them into the computer because we don't want things saved in the internet,” Freddie explained. “Well, we can set it up in my closet and I want to connect it to the monitor, Andrew said.

We moved into my bedroom. “Okay, now we have voice microphone which I brought or you can connect your keyboard and mouse. He set up on the top shelf the square box which was the radio/computer unit. Ran the power cable down the wall and plugged it into the outlet at the end of my bed. He also ran the video cable next to it but ran it up on the ceiling and plugged it into the monitor.

“Alright we are going test it real quick, Freddie said. He then twisted the power knob to on. Then turned on the monitor. He plugged the mouse and keyboard in but he also had the microphone plugged in. I guess so that you can respond no matter how the other person messages you.

“Test message anyone copy, over,” Freddie exclaimed. A voice came back over the radio and came out my speakers. “Welcome to the net, this is Frk3922, over.” “Thanks for acknowledging switch to text message test please, over,” Freddie said. Freddie types out a message got a reply. Then got up and switched off the radio. “Are there mandatory call signs,” Andrew asked. “Only if you want people to know you by call sign,” Freddie stated. “If you want me to recognize you use His45, I will be using Sdn3500 and I'm the only Sdn call sign. I'm also pretty tired, be on the radio at 7pm tomorrow I'll talk to you then,” Freddie said in tired raspy voice.
