PORTRAITURE WORK USING COLORED PENCIL – GUSTAVO’S MOM

Every now and then I get the urge to draw someone. I don't get many chances because some people tend to be either self conscious about it or they're gung ho about it but can be disappointed with the final result.

Last year I noticed my friend Gustavo would post multiple pictures of his mother, who seemed such a vibrant personality to me. Her style reminded me of Iris Apfel, a prominent fashion icon and designer who has recently (2005) had a showcase in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.....
