It may sound cliche, but we can all get on a little bit better if we try to assume good intent with trolls and haters.

Sometimes a troll is just bored, sometimes people are upset with their real lives and project it onto the digital realm feeling that it just goes off into the abyss and helps them let off steam. Regardless of their motivation, not all trolls are out to get you and I think it's better for everyone to try our best to assume good intent wherever possible. It can help them, it will help your mental well being and it helps you get into the mindset of assuming good intent everywhere in life. Regardless if that is the case, you will save yourself a lot of mental anguish from being upset and getting riled up about things that are out of your control. While how you deal with is in your control, the fact that love will always be contrasted by hate rings true here and it's an unavoidable challenge if you want to share value with the world
