Colony.io Beta
I currently have a group setup for called Promo & Design Gigs. Attempting to get some users to sign up for MINDS & subscribe to my feed. Current reward for a sub is 0.01 ETH (~$1.25 USD) for the first 5 subscribers & sub4sub thereafter (though I may add more rewards). Just testing out the software, but so far it's great!
Earlier I tested out some items for Swash by Streamr on the Colony.io beta site & got paid in DATA coins - 3 days later DATA goes up by 160% and I cash out. Gotta Love It!
I've been interested in this project since Summer of 2017 and I've finally been able to play with it. Loving it! Create groups to incentivize employees, find and request gig work, just about anything you can think of!
Truly, applications like Colony are why I love cryptocurrency so much. So many people think crypto is just fake money. Ignoring the fact that $BTC is just as valid a currency as $USD, crypto is far more than just a store of value. It can be a rewards system, a global VM, global ledger, etc... there's just so much utility to it! In the case of Colony, it's an organizational incentive based system that allows you to create groups, tasks, and use crypto as a form of payment for completed jobs!
