A counter gaslighting helpline.

I made the promise on a Minds+ account that I would use whatever money I made there for prepping or civil defence purposes. What I did not foresee was that not a single person would click on anything! It looks as if I now have a project without a budget unless you click on something Minds+. This may be interesting as I will have to be creative. Can I prep with no money at all? Can I provide a service to the world at no cost?

It is free to take fire precautions and so I am disposing of old books. I live in a block of flats and so reducing fire hazards also protect my neighbours. Many of my books are unread and so I must quickly read them before throwing them out. I would guess I will dispose of one carrier bag of flammable material a week in this way. I have a bag next to my bed to remind me of the task in hand.

Another hazard is cancel culture. Not fatal but highly annoying.

Minds is one step on the road and this gives me some limited free speech. I may post anything that is legal i.e things the government allows me to say. In other words Minds simply protects me from the Twitter mob. It does not protect me from the reasonable sounding 'hate speech' laws. Who - after all- could be in favour of hate speech? The real question here is 'who decides what hate speech is?'. The answer- obviously- is the government. In other words the government decides what may and may not be said and Minds cannot protect us here.

The aim of hate speech legislation is not to throw hundreds of thousands of people into gaol. It is to create an atmosphere of doubt and fear so that everyone self censors themselves and comes to feel they are the only person who can see the truth. 

This is one reason I post under my own name. Doing so demonstrates it is possible to put ones head above the parapet and not have it blown off. I also give out my phone number should you want a chat. 07886 626395. You might call this an anti gaslighting service.

What is gaslighting? It is a form of mental torture that can quite literally drive one mad by convincing us we already are insane. It is a system of reality denial by which the victim is shown one thing and then told his perceptions are false. If we are surrounded by liars (as we all are if we rely upon the mainstream media) we may come to doubt our own thoughts causing confusion and mental collapse. It you are experiencing something like this then give me a ring. There is nothing innately wrong with you- you are simply the victim of torture. I have a UK mobile number so check the cost if phoning from abroad. Many of us are experiencing enforced idleness right now so we may as well get our heads sorted out while we are free.

This is all I can do to prep for the time being. A bag of flammable junk a week and a telephone helpline. Go on. Call me.
