“The only diversity that matters is diversity of thought.”

Or so the line goes. But what is diversity of thought?

Diversity of thought is the coexistence of not only different reasoning processes but also their end products, whether they be true or false, reasoned or insane.

We can see this variation, this “diversity of thought,” played out in the contrast between progressive psychoses and individualist thought.

Here are several examples:

-Liberals believe that the categories of male and female are an artificial construct. Intelligent people recognize the basic biological science which demonstrates that men and women are different. They have different genitals, different average body characteristics, and different psychological tendencies.

-Liberals believe that Islam is a racial category, hence their incessant accusation of racism toward anyone who criticizes Islam or its adherents. Intelligent people recognize that Islam is a religion, not a race. Actually, Islam is a totalitarian political ideology, akin to Nazism, which is practiced by diverse ethnicities all over the world.

-Liberals think that one should always believe all “victims,” regardless of whether or not such accusers provide any evidence for their claims. Intelligent people believe evidence, which is the only way to prove whether or not someone is actually a victim.

-Liberals believe that Donald Trump is “literally Hitler.” Intelligent people ask why liberals incessantly attempt to force all citizens to surrender their guns, which are their only means of self-defense against the government he heads.

All of these beliefs, both the psychotic ravings of liberals and the reasoned responses of their intelligent counterparts, represent diversity of thought. But such diversity should not be celebrated.

Granted, we should protect the right of free speech and the multiplicity of thought that it enables; freedom is essential. But we should only value reason.

Celebrate truth, not diversity of thought.
