My city where I had lived and studied
Now I will tell about Cần Thơ city where I lived through my student life. I have lived here about 8 years with many beautiful memories. This is the fourth largest city in Vietnam, and the largest city in the Mekong Delta. There are many famous places where has many tourists around the world visiting such as floating market, rice paper-making village, and picturesque rural canals. People say of Cần Thơ:
“Cần Thơ gạo trắng nước trong,
Ai đi đến đó lòng không muốn về"
(“Cần Thơ, white rice, pure water, all who come wish never to leave”)
The city offers a wide range of tropical fruits such as pomelo, longan, jackfruit, mango, guava, banana, rambutan, mangosteen, dragon fruit and durian. Besides, Cần Thơ Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Hậu (Bassac) River, the largest distributary of the Mekong River, in the city of Cần Thơ in southern Vietnam. Cần Thơ University is where I had studied, established in 1966, it is a multidisciplinary university and a leading university in the Mekong Delta. There are many beautiful sights for your check-in when you come here. People is very kind and friendly.
In my memories, it is always the modern and beautiful city. If you want to traveling, it is the city that you could put in your choices.
