The Sunda flying lemur (Galeopterus variegatus), also known as Sunda Colugo, lives in Southeast Asia and are endemic to Indochina and Sundaland. This nocturnal creature is strictly aboreal and lives its entire life in tropical rainforests. While the Sunda flying lemur cannot truly fly, a membrane of skin called a patagium allows them to glide from tree to tree. Their herbivorous appetite, which consists of young leaves, flowers, fruits, and shoots, helps the ecosystem by dispersing seeds and pollen.
