Government purchases are tracked through the blockchain in the state of Brazil
The Brazilian state of Bahia has launched a blockchain-based application to conduct and track tenders for government orders.
Online Bid Solution (SOL) was developed by Cayenne Technology and Design. Representatives of the company report that the applications will be completely transparent and safe thanks to the use of blockchain technology.
“The application launched in the Play Store and the Apple Store will be used by more than 1,000 agricultural associations and cooperatives in the states of Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte,” the company said.
Earlier it was reported that the Institute of International Relations of Brazil Rio Branco issued a decree according to which candidates for admission should be aware of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
