Amphibious Habitat: The Future of Planet

"From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders, he is screwed to the ground, but man only has to sink under the surface and he will be free." - Jacques Cousteau

Approximately 70% of the planet is covered by the oceans, whose average depth is about one thousand meters. That's about 98% of Earth's water.

Our oceans are not harnessed wisely.

Mr. Spock would say be an illogical situation. And he would be right.

In fact, our seas do not receive the due importance they should, but why?

In environmental terms, the high density of the human population has very negative impacts on ecosystems and biodiversity.

As anthropogenic activities spread, wildlife is dwindling and countless species are disappearing.

Obviously, the poor can not simply be blamed for the ecological disaster.

Income concentration and conspicuous consumption play a central role in the degradation of the environment.

The Iraqi marshes, or marshes of Mesopotamia, are a wetland located at the intersection of the Degla and Euphrates rivers in southern Iraq and are a clear example of floating settlements

But it should not be ignored that world population growth serves as a stimulus to the growing production of goods and services and has occurred to the detriment of biodiversity.

The challenge for the coming decades will be to reclaim and expand the wilderness of the world by reducing human density and the ecological footprint and increasing the density of other animal and plant species.

It is necessary to decrease the density of the ecumenas areas and the species that degrade the nature and increase the density of the species that have a symbiotic relationship with the environment.

And would not oceans be a way out of population density?

Self-sustaining floating cities with clean and renewable energy.

Some companies already have futuristic designs for self-sustaining floating cities.

Here some of them:

> Ecopolis Lilypad

> Noah

> City Of Mériens

> X Sea TY

> Floating City Macau

Living on water is not really new to the human being.

Some cultures and communities throughout history have used water as a form of habitat and subsistence.

Now more than ever we must learn from these cultures and improve them.

Because population density tends to increase every time.

And the problem that disorderly overpopulation and its effects bring to the environment is catastrophic.

Self sustaining floating cities are not utopian dreams.

It is a feasible alternative.

That may bring a over-life to Earth and their environment above expectations.

Because most medium and large cities today are not prepared to use clean and renewable energy as the only source of generating energy.

And them does not give a correct treatment in your waste, garbage and sewage.

And floating cities would also have this purpose in addition to:

✓ Decrease Population Density

✓ Decrease Detriment of Biodiversity.

✓ Increase Quality of Life

✓ Increase Environment Health

And the technology used in the cities can be passed on to produce self-sufficient amphibious habitat.

Clean and renewable energies such as wind energy, photovoltaic energy and piezoelectric energy can easily be incorporated into future habitats.

Amphibious habitat can be the future of planet.

Because I believe that before we try to colonize other planets we should colonize our oceans.

It's more easier, cheaper and logical.

And still save the planet.

We have knowledge, technology and raw material.

And we have the main.

Human Minds.
