AOC has Tentacles

AOC and the modern left has tentacles! The spiritual forces behind the ‘woke’ left bear a remarkable similarity to H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu. I just read an incredible blog post at the great reactionary blog The Orthosphere entitled Woke Cthulhu Awakens. You must read this blog post; I will include links at the end of my post.

Orthospherian Thomas Bertonneau makes the claim that Cthulhu is a metaphor for collectivism in the writings of Lovecraft. Bretonneau writes : “Cthulhu pursues a globalist schedule that would bring all humanity under his dominion. He works by bribery on the basis of psychotic resentment, offering to his minions the prospect of sexual abandon without consequence and the license to murder. The four hundred foot tall squid-faced monster advertises his docket as a radiant future. His followers will need to break a few eggs, but the omelet will justify itself deliciously.”

This is a perfect description of the “woke left.” Cthulhu promises orgiastic egalitarian revolution. The sign of his coming is the overturning of all traditional values, a mind-controlled NPC sameness among his followers, and a homicidal impulse intent on destroying all who are not under the sway of the tentacled one. This describes AOC, her squad and her followers to a tea.

Again. Bretonneau writes: “That the hysteria and malice of the times stylizes themselves as “Wokeness,” as the equivalent of an accession to consciousness, is all the more ironic given the Left’s actual lockstep ideological conformism and its actual restriction of expression to a strictly limited set of accusations and denouncements. Cthulhu only awakens to the degree that he can change humanity into a sleepwalking horde that has ceded its mental and moral independence to the calendar of its own servitude.”

AOC and the Twitterverse, CNN and MSNBC, Facebook and Google, they share Cthulhu’s agenda of reducing the variety of human thought to a bland sameness that seems safe to ‘woke’ progressives. There is huge pressure to accede to the demands of the ‘woke.’ The price is ultimately your soul. To embrace the soulless sameness of the egalitarian left is to lose your soul.
