Josh Sigurdson talks with author and economic analyst John Sneisen about the pending government shutdown as many predict that it may just happen on December 21st of 2018. The problem? Every past government shutdown has actually been virtue more than anything and has lead to increases in spending just to make a point. We all remember the absurdity of the government shutdown in 2013 under Obama as national parks were closed alongside veteran memorials. More money was actually spent on keeping them closed than would be spent on keeping them open. It's all a scam to grow government further. This time we ask that it not be reopened. If you're going to hang a government shutdown over our heads, shut it down for real. Recently Nancy Pelosi claimed that Americans can't afford the "luxury" of another government shutdown. Luxury? Did she actually say something legitimate for once? We can afford the luxury of the state not stealing our money and spending it on horrible things. We can afford not being coerced and pushed into dependence. We can afford ruling ourselves and decentralizing our lives. If only the shutdown were real, it would be a very Merry Christmas for all. The shutdown deadline is on December 24th and analysis claims that it's likely to happen on the 21st (tomorrow).
