Blaine Pardoe has been writing fiction for the Battletech universe for 37 years, and he's just been canceled by a woke mob.  "Faith McClosky," a 40-ish year old man and convicted criminal posing as a female nurse online for wokeist sympathy, has ginned up a mob to complain to Pardoe's publisher and wormtongue them into dropping the accomplished author for having so-called unacceptable political opinions.

What was Blaine's unconscionable opinion?  Pretty much bog-standard American conservatism.

Blaine's written a short article about his position that can be found here.  A highlight is when his publisher claims this is killing sales, then says he doesn't care about sales when Blaine notes sales aren't down.  Give it a read.
