Could things have ended up differently? What if she had no choice but to kill me? She's cyborg, she just didn't understand how people really feel. What if this time was different, though? What if she had a choice?
A few chapters later, we're back in the present.
I have to kill her, if I don't she will destroy this world and everything she touches. I don't remember why or how, but I know now that my actions have caused her to try to destroy me. She is capable of violence. She's not human. She's a synthetic robotic hybrid. She's never been human. An artificial creation of a god who wanted to use me as a weapon to wipe out humanity. This god has created an army of demons. Demons who have no feelings other then the power to make you suffer. I've come here to destroy the demons. A perfect war has been waged. We have no choice.
"Kill the cyborgs! Kill the supercomputer!" - distant crowd cheering.
