This "study" is another example of what I had written about on "How Big X stays in Power:" https://www.minds.com/blog/view/880631913519083520 . Note how the hit piece is set up: We don't have a particular person making a claim against pro-liberty people on Youtube, but instead we see an organization, doing a "study." This is meant to create the air of legitimacy, and it is also meant to maintain legitimacy for the organization even if the individual author ends up being destroyed by a backlash.
What the pro-liberty crowd may miss here is that we like to argue actual ideas, and the ideas in the hit piece are easily knocked over. However, this is not how corporations think, nor is it how police departments, counter-terrorism task forces, etc. think. These organizations are run instead by risk-averse, career-first types that do not and will not make an argument without making sure that someone else will take the fall.
Therefore, making the personal argument "this hit piece is preposterous" isn't going to fly, there has to be some respectable organization saying it, so that if the argument fails it is the fault of said organization, not the guy trying to make safe decisions that will get him a corner office and 30% larger pension. This is why this ridiculous hit piece is still going to gain some traction in certain circles anyway, even if the very people implementing SJW policies in their company know how ridiculous the whole thing is.
In some senses, we must learn how to "fight fire with fire" by developing our own organizations, to the extent that we cannot get away from the career-seeking types, particularly those making policy in governments. However, the other angle, which will prove very effective in the current paradigm of weaponizing companies, is to start finding ways for pro-freedom authors to make a living and continue to spread the message without even having to deal with corporations like YouTube.
Entrepreneurship is the first thing that comes to mind. Minds is not going to throw people under the bus like Youtube, and if enough viewership leaves YouTube the market will effectively strongarm them back to protecting free speech. Entrepreneurship also helps in the sense that people with non-SJW opinions may not have to stay silent just to keep a job. There is even a theorized business model - and some companies actually do this - where the big corporation is SJW-ridden, but that also means no work can be done, so the actual work is contracted out to small companies where people work without bothering about politics.
The other angle is to find creative ways to economically support people who are standing up to SJW mania. When Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out got record sales during supposed "boycotts," a very strong economic message is sent to companies that "You can take a stand, we have your back." The same thing happened when Jordan Peterson started making more money as a rebel instead of a quiet professor, or on the flip side, when a company loses sales the minute it gets "woke."
No matter which approach you use, now is the time to WAKE UP and start dedicating time to actively supporting the leading names in this culture war. Increasing desperation is a sign that we are winning. The utter panic and name-calling from the socialist-corporatist axis is a sign that they are losing. Keep up the fight.
