Seed Trading Website
I've been working on a website called Plant Growers Club. It's a free online community-driven platform for gardeners, farmers, and plant lovers of all kinds. People use the club's website to connect, share, and trade seeds with other members.
I came up with the idea a year ago and started planning and developing different versions of the website. After extensively testing a few different iterations, I finally decided to launch the site and start trying to grow the community.
I've been a part of many online communities over the years and always really enjoyed the way that technology has brought people together. Great online communities like Minds inspired me to start this project.
Plant Growers Club is built on an open-source forum platform called Discourse. It's like a modernized version of old-school forums. I host it on a DigitalOcean cloud server, so it runs smoothly and everything loads quickly.
