A Solution to Guns in AMERICA. Or See the Problem From Our Side.
A SOLUTION TO THE GUN DEBATE FROM A 2ND AMENDMENT SUPPORTER IN TWO PARTS.
(If your a 2nd Amendment supporter be sure to read to the end.)
Here is a solution to the gun debate that will piss off, horrify and hopefully make people think. This solution is based on equality of outcomes. Some get what they want. Others get what they want.
The first step is to acknowledge its 2019, we live in a lawful society, there is no need for an ak47 for everyday personal defense. However it is the most effective tool in the box at this time. So the answer to step one is bring to market non kinetic limited lethality weapons. Legalize stun guns and mace for instance. Why are they illegal when shotguns are not? If people where offered an effective option with equal portability & stopping power obviously people would choose the less indescriminate method.
The second step is a vote. Simple majority guns or no guns. Everyone votes. Politicos, old, young, healthy, inferm, black, asian, and white, even the lawyers and beurocrats. If the gun rights side wins; we get all our arms back, ARs RPGs cannon...all of it. With restrictions allowed for zoning laws of course. We cant have M1 tanks rolling down a side street we wouldnt want a 18 wheeler on. If we loose, the gun confiscators not only can take our weapons but they can decide what exactly is a weapon. ARs, RPGs, pistols, hammers, fingernails, whatever. Of course there needs to be compensation for giving up an inalienable right. In fact, isnt the 2nd amendment more an acknowledgement of the contract between citizens and this country; that when authority overrides its limits we the people, to secure our country will stick those arms up the authorities collective ass. So here it is. All current and future politicians & beurocrats and anyone voting to take away our rights, will recieve a hereditarily passed on gene marker. This marker(permanent) shall be tied to a aerosolized drug placed in containers across the country. So that when the inevitable happens...those who voted to KEEP our rights and/or their offspring can press a button to kill off the entire bloodlines of all those that voted away our rights and every politico and their families that allowed it to happen as well as those that then were usurping power.
This may seem extreme. But i would rather see my family push the button when needed, than to watch from heaven, their rape, enslavement and murder. Knowing that I allowed their birth rites to be taken away. This is the gamble that we free citizens are asked to take by giving up OUR guns for YOUR safety. A small price to pay is YOUR bloodlines for OURS. For it wasnt it Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
I personally would never agree to this. And noone who has a brain should either. But isnt this kinda the same 'compromise' that the left is offering now? Only in reverse? Hopefully this puts the need for the #2ndAmendment in perspective.
