Asking for a phone number...

Twitter used to demand that the user provide a phone number to ensure that he was a "real person". That doesn't really work when facing spammers and trolls from some low-cost countries. Granted, it will limit random users from spamming and trolling sites that have such a requirement, but that's a weak protection against the really dangerous ones.

Privacy is dead with the Internet and the phone. For the same reason, #transparency was born. Transparency is stricter than God. God will punish you after death. Transparency can penalize you tomorrow. Think before every click and call. Digital identity can turn into a monster.

Too Precise for a Coincidence

Today, there was a package sitting on the front porch. It was CPU thermal paste that my son ordered. I took a photo of it with my Galaxy S10 camera, then sent it to my son over Signal, not mentioning, in words what it was. I also never spoke it out loud (I was alone, so no words were spoken). 1 hour later, I turn on YouTube on my ROKU and a video is suggested for me to watch about CPU thermal paste. This type of extremely specific coincidence happens far FAR too often! What are some examples like this that YOU'VE experienced?

Decentralized IDs

Decentralized IDs are the solution to passwords and centralized user databases that are constantly being compromised, putting millions at risk, every time it happens. I've added a "Decentralized ID" section to DecentralizationCentral where I'll be adding info pages on different decentralized ID technologies. https://decentralizationcentral.com/Services/Category/48b3518e-429d-461b-8044-bd632f2b9619 #decentralize #decentralized #decentralization #ids #identiification
