Abbaye de Floreffe. Floreffe (Belgium) is my birth place and his motto is florete flores, Let the flowers bloom (or Let talents flourish) .
The first religious arrived in 1122, headed by a certain Richard, considered the first abbot. The abbey adopted a motto inspired by the name of the place (Floreffe): Florete flores.
Being one of the foundations of Saint Norbert himself, the abbey will keep a great importance and influence in the order Premonstratensian throughout its history.
