The Amazing Toad-headed Agama 🔥 What does this animal remind you of? This is the Toad-headed Agama (Phrynocephalus spp.), a diurnal lizard found in the deserts of Iran, Azerbaijan, and some parts of China. These flaps, which are normally folded down, can be raised when the agama feels threatened.
