I got Just Cause 2 for like $1.50, on sale. It said the game was not compatible with Steam Deck. I was able to get it working. This is how I did it. - Go into Desktop Mode, then search for ProtonUpQT in the App explorer. - Download and install ProtonUpQT. - Run ProtonUpQT and tell it to install ProtonGE 8-15 - After installing ProtonGE 8-15, go back into gaming mode. - under the settings for Just Cause 2, tell the game to force compatibility using ProtonGE 8-15. The game should now fire up and run pretty flawlessly.

FYI; If you have Mortal Kombat X on your Steam Deck, and it runs like shit, create a "per-game" profile and lock the GPU at 1600. The game runs so much better. (although it'll eat up battery faster)
