Welcome to a place where you can share your own ORIGINAL DRAWINGS. Whether you're a professional artist, or only just starting to draw, or are dreaming of being able to draw, I hope you will feel nourished and supported here. Your drawings can be in any traditional drawing medium: Graphite and coloured pencil, charcoal and pastel, pen and ink, watercolour and mixed media, as long as the emphasis is on drawing rather than painting. Drawings can be traditional or contemporary, simple mark making explorations, preliminary drawings, studies, master copies or finished art pieces. Digital/tablet drawings are allowed but no memes cartoons, manga or anime, videos or gifs. Group Owner and Administrator: @allyinspirit RULES: 1. ORIGINAL content only. 2. NO links. 3. TEXT CONTENT Requirements: a.Title of drawing. b. Medium of drawing and substrate. ie Charcoal on Canson paper. c. Name of artist and/or your username. d. Description or Inspiration for the drawing: This isn't required but it may be of interest to others in the group. No more than 100 words. e. Tags: Use at lease these three tags: #originaldrawing #originalcontent and #mydrawing. Suggestions for your remaining 2 tags: #drawing #myart #art #pencil or chose your own. 3. Other relevant information can be included in your first comment. 4. Definitely no NSFW. 5. Only ONE drawing a day. (This may change.) NOTE: The group is strictly moderated. Drawings will not post automatically and submissions can take a day or so to be approved.

Reproduction of the original photograph was lightened and then parts enhanced with drawing and stitch.

A grid was used to enlarge a drawing from the original photo of 6 x 4" to 22 x 18" and that drawing was transferred to a stretched canvas. Ready for paint! Artist: Pat Dickun
