The fable of the donkey and the tiger - or why one should not debate fools

I hate subscriptions! I think there's only ONE application I accepted to pay a subscription for - EverNote. Because I use it so heavily and actually need the added benefits. Other than that, there's my phone subscription. Can't see how to get around that... Other than that? As little as possible! https://www.wsj.com/articles/people-are-sick-and-tired-of-all-their-subscriptions-cbee7e03 Without paywall: https://archive.ph/b4WbX#selection-833.0-1365.19

Wired was by far my favorite magazine, in the 1990s. It was super cool and a truly interesting documentation about the emergence of Internet. They had some excellent writers. I still have this number here on paper. It was about the 3 creators of DOOM who earned $60 million within 3 months from voluntary payments by players. It was shareware - you could play it entirely for free. About 1% of the players gave $20. https://archive.org/details/wired-magazine-04.08-1996-august/page/n25/mode/2up

Russia is the largest country in the world with an area of 17 million square kilometres but a population of 145 million only. Bangladesh on the other hand has a population of 161 million living in an area of only 150,000 square kilometres. That makes Bangladesh, the most densely populated country in the world. Can you imagine there are more people living in that green spot than the vast landmass colored in red?

No, seriously, this isn't funny, guys 🙄🤦‍♂️ But it kind of is ... if it makes you laugh and you were depressed, maybe you won't do it!

Sylvester Stallone, at 78, surrounded by his daughters Scarlet, 22, Sistine, 25, and Sophia, 28, all from his wife Jennifer Flavin... He says that at some point, he didn't care about his career anymore and just wanted to spend time with his family. He looks happy, to me.
