Jeffrey Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Jeffrey Epstein was in jail, waiting for trial when he died in his cell in an apparent suicide. Because of a previous attempt to kill himself, the man had been on suicide watch three weeks prior, and, in what has been called a “baffling” move, was removed from suicide watch mere days later.

Epstein was a scumbag. And he was a scumbag that had a lot of dirt on a lot of very powerful people. I’m not one for grandiose conspiracies, I usually treat them as fun thought experiments and nothing more. So, do I think Epstein was murdered? No. I think he was given a window of opportunity to off himself, and he took it.

Epstein had gone from being on top of the world, as it were, to having nothing but a long prison sentence to look forward to. It wouldn’t be hard to imagine someone in that circumstance to be suicidal.

The man had already tried to kill himself once. He was then on suicide watch. But a few days later, he was taken off. Now, for that to happen, a certified medical professional would have to see him, analyze him, and conclude that he was not a danger to himself.

Now, as I’ve stated, I’m not one for conspiracies, but here are the facts:

1. Epstein was a very powerful man who had lost everything.

2. This caused him such grief that he was willing to take his own life

3. He had shown suicidal tendencies in the very recent past.

4. One man said he was fine, and he was taken off watch.

5. He was somehow able to obtain the means to hang himself in solitary confinement.

6. Many very powerful men are now relieved that he’s dead.

So, do I think Epstein was murdered? Again, not technically. But he was given an opportunity, the means to hang himself, and a lot of very powerful people are benefitting from his death. So, in this case, I think he was his own hitman. They didn’t kill him per se, they let him take care of himself.

Now, like I said, this is all speculation, and like most conspiracies we will likely never know just what exactly happened. However, I do know this: The world is a better place without assholes like Epstein in it. I hope now that his victims can find some peace and begin to heal
