The difference between pan and neo-Slavism

Pan-Slavism is a political ideology whose main goal is to completely unify all Slavic countries into one mega country. The process of accomplishing that goal is sped up and that means that the people try to accomplish it via aggressive revolutions or some kind of speed voting(a small group of people decides about the terms of the unification). The founders of the pan-Slavic movements were usually Marxists who founded the movements not because they wanted to help the Slavic people but because doing so would bring them one step closer towards globalization and that would be deadly for Slavs.

Neo-Slavism is a political ideology whit the main goal of creating a Slavic alliance between the Slavic nations. The alliance would be achieved in a democratic way, by the will of the people. It promotes cooperation between the Slavic states, the preservation of religion, culture, borders, and nationality of every Slavic country. The final goal of neo-Slavism is to create a symbiosis between every Slavic country and to not lose the unique identities of those countries in the process.

This is a neo-Slavic movement but we accept pan-Slavs as long as they want to preserve Slavic nationalities, religions, and cultures.
