Morality,

I am a word person. The main activities that I find pleasurable is consumption of, study of, use of in the oratory and my favorite! The written word, for if there is a defining characteristic innate in us Sapiens that most be in place prior to a need for a "____"-insert concepts name in blank-it's abstract language. Take the concept "Natural" as an example. The critter that finds a use for such an idea is for all practical purposes not of, but in transaction with the natural. If a need for such a word to be created spreads through a population then that population most already have transitioned into an abstract intelligence long before. The thought of stealing the moon comes to mind... lol

Screw it! Morality is nothing more than a function we construct for the purpose we need to impose social controls that permits violence against those who violate abstract social taboos held in the main by members with in your own group. The mob speaketh! That it shall not tolerate the wearing of purple elephants upon one's head, lest a stone, one's head wishes to meet... So the mob speaketh so it shall come to pass.

How should I know? You're not real and your construction is so transient that who knows how the hell you decide to snap. I figure that with a track record such yours nothing is really off the table. Let's be honest. You only pop into existence for the moments when we all get together and start trying to justify doing to someone what we sure as hell do not want to be done to our selves. Like say..... Burning people alive at the stake...

Johnathan Hates moral foundations theory is BS. You are not born with Morality. Morality is imposed upon you by the folks who want to harm you because they are unhappy! I find it despicable to join in, or to watch your own group start to circle its newest victim without attempting to stop them, to praise and for one to allow others to define actions of the mob by the most cowardly of statements.... silence....

I am guilty to one degree, or worse in the case of silence, of all of those actions that I just described as despicable. Does that make me a hypocrite? I don't know... I do know that I have spent the majority of my adult life mass consuming information for the pure pleasure I get from it. My friends always tell me how smart I am or describe me as intelligent when they introduce me to people. Though I am not exactly a modest man, some might describe me as an insufferable know it all, I do like the inflated feeling my over sized head can reach in the face of such flattery... Indubitably! They typically are implying something that is not ever given air, though it hits me awfully hard some times. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was for a long time... I will attempt to explain.

People tend to do things, and we like to pretend our actions have purpose, so when I do something there is supposed to be a goal. So my addiction with reading and my passion for abstract thought and philosophy has perplexed many of my friends and family because there is an assumption that my actions were supposed to be goal driven... That honestly never occurred to me. Nobody expects you to go for a PhD is Sociology based on the amount of time you spend on social media, but read, "An over view of the structure and form of rhetoric." by Francis Beacon and grandmas going to expect that moon you supposedly promised her.

The heart of a mental break down that I had the dubious honor to experience in it's many faceted an inventive torments, was a manifestation in my body through stress responses my brain caused in response to implied social contracts that I was wholly ignorant of signing. Our minds are capable of really cool shit, but when minds attack! Yep.... This is still a bitch to talk about... There are so few things in our world so swift and merciless as an assumed failure that you never knew you were failing and how that can effect your weekly booze budget.

Right, so how does this connect to Morality and Hates BS? What does it matter if we are, or are not born with innate morals?...

Allow your definition of who you are to be placed outside of yourself is to make You, with a Capital U, into an abstraction that is no more real than my fictional purple elephant trend in hats... Until it suddenly it is real, and you are not in control of how your brain will cope to the cognitive dissonance nor how it will manifest real physical harm. Which, if not addressed it will. For surly we all can agree that one should not wear purple elephants upon one's head unless one wants a broken neck and has a lot of spare purple paint. As an abstraction you can do what I did for a long time and dissapparate into the bottom of a whiskey bottle. Though now you've kicked the problem down the road, and if you are not careful, that stupid elephant will wander off the cliff face discover the mother fucker has wings and good luck on your journey to the bottom. Not all us make it. That is not a joke... But all of us hit the bottom... all so not a joke...

Do not allow people to define you as an abstract. Moral foundations' theory does that. Obfuscating unpleasant images when we are the most vulnerable is already way too easy today. Offering people even more ways to permit the outside of them to define the value they have with in themselves is to agree to be put in a box. I don't want a box quite yet. I am more than just an insufferable know it all for I am the sum total of all of my parts, and like you I have many parts. Whether I was born with a part is irrelevant, but using the abstract idea that if you are born with it and the only reason to publish such BS is its implied notion it's not you with a capital U that is responsible to fix it can and does lead to unconscionable harm! It does not make it ok just because you put a disclaimer in your stupid book either!
