Detoxify Your Gut

Warning: Stay Close to the Toilet

This simple detoxification method is aimed at eliminating toxic bowel microbes. It's best to be under the supervision of a professional especially if there are specific concerns or conditions of the intestines however, for the average person this is a fairly simple and generally safe way to clean out.

Description

Basically, you take vitamin C in powder form until you reach "bowel tolerance" which means you get watery stool (so don't plan on going anywhere). This is useful for those who are gassy, bloated, and having signs of an irritated bowel. Especially when stools have become foul smelling (with foul smelling gas) and sticky (harder to wipe). If the bowels get bad enough the tongue coating will become thick and yellow.

The vitamin c flush will not fix the digestive issues that likely caused the disruption but it will reduce harmful overgrowth of bacteria, yeast, and other nasty elements that are collectively referred as dysbiosis.

Basic Protocol:

► It is best to use a 100 percent l-ascorbate, fully reduced, buffered mineral ascorbate form of vitamin C.

► Take 1/2 teaspoon mixed with 2 ounces of water (first thing in the morning on empty stomach).

► Repeat every 15 minutes until there is gurgling in the intestines (loose stool soon to follow).

► If not response after 4 doses then double the dose and continue (some people need as much as 2 teaspoons per dose if their bowels are especially toxic).

As with any nutritional protocol, check with your medical doctor before proceeding.
