You can hire a web development company to design your website and you can give your company information to build the same. But are you sure that your developer will protect your confidential data? This is very important for your business because you need to share some confidential business information along with your client details with the web development company and they will use the same for developing your website. They can use your client details to make your online marketing campaign strategy. So make sure that your developer must include enough safeguard to protect your data.

Apart from that, you must keep your project confidential. For example, you may use customized designs for your website and you can run some expensive software behind your website. Your competitors will try to access such information and they can use the same to run their business. So you must keep your project confidential and you must include NDA or non disclosure agreement in your web development contract checklist.

• Web development agency can include your company name and logo in their clientele. But, they must take permission from you in written before they use your intellectual property.

• You must include a non-compete clause in your web development contract and according to this clause no party can hire any employee from other’s organizations. It is possible that a client can hire a mastermind from the development agency and recruit him in his company to run his online business. Your employees are your assets and you must protect them with such agreement. But, such non-compete agreement has a time limit, and after this stipulated timeframe any company can hire your employees.

• Data security and non disclosure calluses should be added in your web development agreement. If the web development company hire a third party agency to complete your project and share your confidential information with that third party agency then you must include a safeguard in your agreement. According to this third party prevention clause, your web development company cannot outsource your project to any third party agency without taking your prior permission.

Apart from the above points, you must include force majeure in your web development agreement. Force majeure is a French word which means supreme force. According to this term, if the project gets delayed due to any complication or natural disaster, then both the party should agree with other terms and conditions of the agreement and continue with the project with an extension.

Axis Web Art is one only web development company in India that obeys all the legal terms and they can keep your company data safe and secure. They do not work with any third party agency and they do not disclose your confidential data.
