I met up with a few friends for a fun hike up the Middle fork of Lytle creek! We drove up the long and bumpy dirt road to the trailhead and then started hiking up the trail. It was perfect weather for a hike. We got over the first big hill and then took the high trail that traverses high above the Stonehouse camp. Then we continued making our way up through the canyon, into the Cucamonga Wilderness area, to where the creek forks at the Third Stream Crossing camp.

We hung out for awhile and had fun climbing all over the different tiers of the falls. Eventually we had to go and so we turned around and hiked back out the same trail that we hiked in on. A great hike, on a beautiful day, with awesome friends... it doesn't get much better than that!!
