Comirnaty, What’s in a Name?

Not that it seems to matter, but the medical rationalizations for the Covid policies have already been soundly defeated. While many still need to hear those testimonies from esteemed scientific and medical minds, there’s no real need among the informed to rehash any of it. And the legal basis for the Covid policies have already been soundly debunked. There’s no need to invoke the Nuremberg Code or Bill of Rights again, at least not as magical incantations that will miraculously stop what is happening. The social ramifications and the risk-to-benefit ratio of these policies have, likewise, been cited again and again. There’s no need to make revelatory proclamations about any of it; anyone with eyes can already see these things. Likewise, the economic impact of the policies upon the non-billionaire, non-“elite” class, aka “real people,” has been well noted. No need to dwell upon how this has benefited the well-connected and the super-wealthy any more than we need to over-analyze why some bank robbers may have robbed a certain bank; that’s what bank robbers do.

Where does that leave us? Who are the people for whom reasoned argument and evidence don’t matter? Either people incapable of reason, or criminals intent on doing what they set out to do regardless of any damning evidence they are confronted with. The level of the planning and global coordination to what we’re experiencing rules out stupidity or accident, but nothing we’ve experienced rules out crime. The scale of the crime suggests a global coup d’état, but that doesn’t have the kind of appeal marketing departments go for. Better to call it a “Great Reset” or some other vague slogan to gain acceptance.

So if reason no longer matters, and labeling carries such import, I now have a new answer to inquiries about my unvaccinated status, or at least something a bit more specific than “none of your business.” “Comirnaty” sealed it for me: I don’t like the names Pharma contrives. Comirnaty, remdesivir, Vioxx… who comes up with these? Not only do they not sound like English, they barely sound like human language, and that can’t be a good sign. Shakespeare or Lewis Carroll earned the right to invent words, not BioNTech or Pfizer… Pfizer? Excuse my linguistic ignorance, but shouldn’t that “p” and “f” be chaparoned by a responsible vowel? I’d sooner take a drug made by Cervantes than read the stories written by Pfizer; lies and deceit passed off as science is not my favorite genre of fiction; it gets to be very formulaic.

So that’s my exemption, based on a blatant disregard for imagination on the part of Pharma. If they want to call their next jab “Jabberwocky,” it could get my attention as a sign that something’s changed, but I’m not making any promises to cooperate.

Unreasonable? Yes, and that’s the point. We don’t need a reason at all, not even “safe ‘n effective.” Though they keep threatening, the state and Pharma have no say in it… at least, none with any moral basis. They’re not trustworthy, and even that is more explanation than they deserve. Since when do we have to explain ourselves to giant, felonous corporations or their captured government agencies? When did we negotiate and agree to their takeover of our bodily autonomy? So I’m taking a stand on the names. I don’t like them. I’m not taking anything called “Comirnaty.” If anyone has a problem with it, well, it’s none of their business. That still holds.
