What a unique place Peñaliri is! This picture is our group arriving and posing in front of one of the abandoned huts. The location of this place makes perfect sense - in the middle of nowhere, but yet next to a flowing river. The farmers' llamas can drink, and the farmers can rest.

On our way out of the valley, we saw this HUGE stone that had a door going into it. When we got closer we could see the cross over the door and realised what it was..........

A door to a tomb.

We had stumbled on a tomb for someone that had died many years before. Of course, the significance hit us immediately and we quietly continued our hike.
