Facebooks Project Libra Might Never Launch

Project Libr'as delay has people betting around the world on Project Libra not happening — #CoinFLEX, a crypto-futures exchange that launched earlier this year, is offering derivatives that pay out based on the likelihood Libra will be operational by the end of 2020. 

Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg last month declined to directly answer whether the token will launch in 2020. Libra has been pushed back following regulatory backlash and a majoy player in the project has exited –Paypal an original member of the Libra Association annouced on Friday that it will not be supporting Project Libra  stating that “#PayPal has made the decision to forgo further participation in the Libra association at this time and to continue to focus on advancing our existing mission and business priorities as we strive to democratise access to financial services for underserved populations" According to the Wall Street Journal, #Mastercard and #Visa as companies reconsidering their involvement.
