A fun Iron and Green Lantern cross over. It is a little wordy for a comic book. Story felt a little long in the beginning and art work I would rate as average. Over all I would rank it as a 5 out of 10.
Do keep in mind that these numbers are on a dollar comic scale.
Mortal Kombat U.S. Special Forces

This story looks to be a 2 parter. But still not a bad read for a game based comic.
It gives a little bit of some back story to some of the better known characters including Blade and Jax.
I feel like they could have made the characters a little more distinctive.
Over all I give it about a 5 out of 10.
Batman The Animated Movies- Mask of the Phantasm

Mask of the Phantasm was basically another kinda origin story of batman.
Really it's a story about his first love and why he has some trust issues. He probably had a few more after his former girlfriend turn out to be a villain.
If you watched the movie you won't find anything new here. But, if your like me and willing to spend a $1 on anything this isn't a bad read.
I also like animated type art styles.
Over all this is probably one of the better comics I have purchase for a buck.
The Island of Dr. Moreau

This is actually a mini graphic novel, which is why I picked it up.
It's D.C. comics version of the beloved Story of the same name.
I like the art work, but the story itself kinda drags a little. I won't go into too much detail. I will just say all the good parts are at the end.
Spider-Man Gen 13

The story is only one issue so it has that going for it.
I have been reading comics and watching movies for about 30 years now which may have something to do with my review.
The basic jist of the story is a group on young people with superpowers escaped a military compound and were hiding out.
During a concert they see Spider Man get his butt handed to him and they jump in to save him. It turns out attacking spider was a ploy to lure them out.
The group of what I assume are teens and spider man team up to defeat the main Villain Glider.
Glider turns out to be the hero in the end when she turns on her own party to save a bunch of school kids.
over all it's not a bad comic, but I feel like this type of plot is starting to get a little over used. But for a dollar I can't really hate on it.
Cosmic Odyssey
A friend found The first and second book of cosmic odyssey for me in a $1 bin. Turns out it's part of a bigger series.
Well I feel uncomfortable reviewing a partial story and will pass a little judgement on the art.
While most of the characters look okay, the main villain does not. Darkseid looks a little chunky and does not look very intimidating. #comics #comicbookart #art
Rocketeer
Found this Rocketeer movie Comic in a 2 for a dollar bin. as far as I can remember this comic pretty much follows the movie. Although to be honest I don't really remember the movie, so don't quote me on that.
For 50 cents how could I resist this cheesy comic.
