Jinchumuruni Mine [Urbex Blog]

Ruins of a mining town high in the mountains, approximately 3,400 m above sea level. A popular hiking destination north of La Paz in Bolivia. Tomas visited the site a few months ago but didn't send much information with the photos and I couldn't find what historical period the ruins date from or what was actually mined at the site. The mine itself is flooded so unfortunately no underground exploration. In any case, the place and the surroundings look absolutely spectacular.
