The greenhouse will stand among the avos. They are starting to look good with the new growth coming in

The Flush

Avo trees can become infected by Phytophthora ("the plant-destroyer" from the Greek phytón = "plant" and phthorá = "destruction"). I spent a goodly while this year injecting phosphoric acid into the trunks of the trees to kill it off. Pretty grim job

Coming Back To Life

Here you can see the 'dead' branches begining to support vegetation once more. Very satisfying

Bees

Last stop of the day is the apiary. I'm starting to get the hang of this hive checking business. It looks as if the honey is coming along nicely
