Okay, everyone, gather round. It's time for Journal Entry #9 in my RPG Gaming Journey. This time the P.O.V. will focus on Dar'Kandra. With that being said let the tale begin.

Today I had to really prove my mettle as a warrior! While this is what I asked for after I was forced to flee Ust Natha, I had no idea of what I was in for when Terrax and I joined up with that Paladin, Brannon. At least the fool surfacer Paladin hasn't tried to kill me, I take small blessings where I can. We went into the Fell Woods. Lolth's rage I really hated that place from the start! After Brannon had a conversation with a ghost we were informed of the hazards that awaited us in the woods. We encountered Undead and Snow Trolls before we made it to a safe spot.
We encountered a Dryad in the woods. And that's where we found out, the fool Paladin was right to not completely trust that witch Limha!

As we found out later, she had been stealing children from the village to fuel her power and beauty. Fortunately the fool witch thought her petty parlor tricks and her minions would stop us! I happily helped prove what a fatal mistake that was! Hearing her screams as she died was most glorious! I must reluctantly admit the monk has become much more effective since her fist blows were empowered with that...ki energy.
After taking Limha down, we returned to the village and found ourselves having to run another errand for the Wandering Village this one involving a wight we encountered earlier. We found it's drinking cup and returned it to the creature. In turn we got the undead thing's stash as it went to it's proper rest. I took the Wight Sword. For someone like me such a sword would make me feared throughout Faerun and/or Thay. Magical blades are still weapons that can be put to good use, especially for killing or tormenting! When we returned to the village we got reward...and charged with another task, much to my chagrin!
Afterwards, Nym, the drow merchant we met coming into the village told us he was leaving because he sensed the Legion of the Chimera had caught on to us. I had to admit it had been too long since we'd heard from the Legion. After we killed that freak Sherincal you'd think they would've come after us immediately. So the lack of a response was a bit unnerving.
We went back to the Fell Wood and inquired to the Hunter's Ghost about a the son of a villager named Kurttu. They said they would answer the question when we killed the Ghost lights of the Fell Woods. Terrax told me about these Ghost Lights. They're also called Will-O'-the-Wisps and they are nasty creatures that feed off the pain and suffering of living creatures at the moment of death, and afterwards transform them into undead, such as the Restless Dead we faced. We went through the woods to find them. This time Garrett, the Cleric came in handy as his Turn Undead spell made short work of the undead freaks! The Will-O'-the-Wisps turned out to be extremely hard, their electrical attacks hurt, even with my magical immunities I still felt the sting of those things. Thankfully we defeated the nasty little gnats!

We camped for the night in the tent of the now deceased Limha. Then we learned indeed the ghost near Limha's tent was Kyosti, Kurttu's son. As it turned up, Carita, his former wife whom we talked to before we left, had murdered him to be with Leevi. Carita would've fit in nicely with my people. Often the younger matrons of my old house, when fed up with a male, had him killed. Perhaps it was their fickle hearts that doomed my old house in Ust Natha, but that's neither here nor there. When we departed we got some money and a magically enchanted spear. Brannon would later sell that spear back to the tribe. Only fair because we need the money and the spear belongs to the Wandering Village.
Just as we were about to hand over the remains of those killed in the Fell Woods, that's when they showed up! We finally met with the leaders of the Legion of the Chimera. And Lolth's bane, while Brianna, Garrett, and I were horrified enough at what we saw, the look on Brannon, Mali, and Terrax's faces confirmed what my Terrax and the other two have suspected. There can be no doubt Isair and Madae have the blood of the demon Belhifet running through them. More importantly I recognize them as Cambions creatures that are part Devil, part Elf. Such horrific half-breeds are not unheard of un the Underdark but such are slain because of their impurity. Isair is clearly a sorcerer like Terrax, as for Madae everything about her smells of Bane's bastard son Iyachtu Xvim. There are very few times in my life I have been so frightened. The first was when I was forced to flee Ust Natha when my house was destroyed, this is the second time I have been so badly frightened. For all my strength, the absolute power coming from those demonic twins left me shaking in spite of my brave face!

After the battle, the Hunters Isair had transformed were restored to life. But Gods that kind of power from those Half-Breed monsters! That kind of power must not be allowed to continue to exist, it's too dangerous for anyone! It could potentially collapse not just the Ten-Towns but every city in Faerun. If there's one thing I've learned about tyrants it's this...they never know when to quit. I fear the Twins and the Legion of the Chimera, should they succeed in destroying the Ten-Towns, will turn their attention to the rest of Faerun. For the sake of law in this world, and for the sake of the agenda Terrax and I have in mind, Isair and Madae must be stopped! We headed into the Fell Woods and encountered the Dark Treants who had been perverting the woods into the twisted labyrinth in had become. Ironically fire attacks ended up causing them great pain which made up for the fact my ice attacks from my magic sword had no effect.
Next we thwarted an ambush by some Ettercaps and Frost spiders. If there were any Drow citadels in this part of the world I imagine the worshippers of Lolth would take these creatures as pets. We then fought and defeated a pack of Ice Trolls and their shamans. Then came the real challenge. After everything I've faced so far I can say from the bottom of my heart...I hate Barbarians!!! I really, really hate them! Between their shamans and their blasted spellcasting the Barbarian warriors of the Black Raven Barbarian Tribe they hit hard! Those wretched males came close to killing me twice! The audacity of those males to try and kill a warrior as magnificent as me! I swear if I ever see any of them again I will show them absolutely no mercy!

Next we came to a boulder puzzle left by the Barbarians and have begun working on it. Knowing the treachery of these barbarians as we did, when we moved the first two boulders in the first two rows we took time to watch our backs for ambush. And sure enough, first we had to deal with two warriors and another blasted shaman, then three Black Raven Barbarian Warriors. Bearded overly muscled surfacer scum, I'm going to enjoy making them scream in pain as I slowly cut their hearts out! With all the revelations of today I can safely say this adventure has turned into more than any of us bargained for! I swear that when I see Isair and Madae again I will personally make one and/or both of them taste my blade, and I shall enjoy making shredded beef out of their half-breed innards!
