SpringRole – Make The Most Out of Your Professional Skillset

We have reached a point where blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are providing innovative new approaches to traditional tasks at an incredible pace. To some extend that is understandable – professionals who specialize in a given field are able introduce and apply the benefits of blockchain, given enough time.

It is that same ability to reimagine the ways, in which we conduct our daily activities, that has brought an enormous benefit to all parties involved. Users can benefit from higher levels of security, sources that provide trustworthy data and additional benefits, which are otherwise not available on similar products or services – regardless of the industry in question.

SpringRole is a project, which matches the all of the above criteria. It is a fresh take on the traditional concept of a social network for professional or business profiles (ex: LinkedIn) and it brings with it all the functionality and improvements, associated with cryptocurrency-based projects.

The team behind SpringRole have a good understanding of the issues which face both business recruiters and people looking to get their professional experience out in the spotlight. For that reason, many of the platform’s features are aimed at addressing industry shortcomings – one example is that data available on profiles, associated skills and endorsements is unimpeachable and trustworthy.

The Spring Token (ERC20) or ‘SPRING’ is a vital component to the platform. As part of the project’s ecosystem, it serves as both an incentive and a transaction method, with a huge amount of applications. There are also many parties involved, which can benefit from them, such as universities.

Future project milestones will be announced in February 2019, and I personally expect those to be related to expansion of reach, since most features would have been released by then.

The team behind the platform consists of 13 individuals that have high qualifications in a range of subjects. That is understandable, since for a project of this kind requires a lot of software development and engineering.

My opinion is that the MVP here is the founder and CEO of SpringRole – Mr. Kartik Mandaville. His academic achievements are most impressive and his forward outlook is bound to keep driving the project forward.

It is also important to note that the team relies on the expertise of 11 capable advisors and already has the investor backing of 4 major individuals, including Mr. Gil Penchina, a former eBay Vice President and Wikia.com CEO!

It is also important to note, that the project already has landed some serious partnerships and is working on expanding that list.

The website has a pretty clean look to it, and it is free of any unnecessary information. You can also go there in order to access the SpringRole Beta. Other than that, you will find links to various social media channels and detailed information on the team, advisors and investors behind the project.

The Whitepaper totals 37 pages of content and it goes into great length to explain how the platform is designed to operate. While 37 pages does not sound like the lightest read of all, there is a good balance between text and graph representations.

☑️Comparison with LinkedIn

I have come across people, who define SpringRole as the “LinkedIn of the crypto world” and when you consider the utility it offers, that statement does make sense. Still, as much as we can compare the functionality of both platforms, it is important to examine the key differences between the two.

The first such difference is the much greater utility and trustworthiness, which SpringRole brings, simply due to the technology it utilizes. And it is not only the issues that it addresses, but the ways in which they are addressed – the focus is on simplifying and verifying. Traditional recruitment methods still require a lot of extra work to validate a candidate’s proficiency.

Another such difference is the user base – LinkedIn is currently and by far dominating the field, but it is only with innovations such as SpringRole’s, when we can truly begin to see the shortcomings of an established model. It can be argued that over the years LinkedIn has lost some of its’ original identity and a lot of the available content is not reaching the desirable audiences, for instance

It is also important to note, that another good argument in favor of the platform is the currency factor. Users are awarded for their participation, referrals, attestations of skills and many other actions, which ultimately bring added value and purpose to any actions within the platform. It is always important to address the subject of retention and involvement, and I believe the team is on a right track here.

Still, in order to challenge LinkedIn’s dominance in the field, the team will have to put in a great deal of effort. Despite the upper hand in the technological aspect, it will be of vital importance for the platform to land partnerships with businesses, which can value, appreciate and utilize it.

⚠️What I like in SpringRole❓

The ICOs that I have examined are very diverse – whether it is infrastructure projects, technologies of the future or projects, aimed at making our daily and professional lives easier, such as SpringRole.

What I like about this platform is that it doesn’t go too far ahead of itself – the main goal here is clear and within reach. The utility it aims to bring is undoubted and the motivation behind the team seems unlimited - it is always inspiring to come across a group of young people, who wish to improve and contribute to society.

I believe that the platform will find many applications with businesses and enterprises – I am eager to see how the development cycle will pan out over the course of the coming months.
