Crocodolite or Quartz Cat's Eye as most other chatoyant stones have been the fascination of mankind throughout the centuries. Many in ancient cultures believe the "eye" of the stone is from a spirit dwelling inside. In Asia chatoyant stones are highly prized and collected for their beauty, a fascination with Tiger's Eye, Chrysoberyl and some of the Obsidians. As the stones dance in the sunlight they have a peaceful and calming effect on the psyche.

Physiclly Crocodolite improves digestion, clears blockages in the digestive system, provides relief from constipation, aids in alleviating stomach ulcers and helps in the absorption of vitamins A and E to the bloodstream. Not a rare stone, but this stone is quite difficult to find, it's shimmer in the sun makes it an attractive piece to wear, often said by gem professionals to be more more beautiful than it's more expensive relative the Chrysoberyl.
