Take the Kids , Imprison the Men and Terrorize the Women ...Take the Lands ....Murder Earth .. .Thereby the Mission to Survive this Madness was Clear to Me at 4 ....Keep your Name ...They'll Change It ....Remember...Being Free ....Fight Back ..Don't Die ....Remember ....Then this Chronic and Nauseatingly Paternalistic "We're So Sorry" Bullshit started ....Repeatedly more Meaningless and Vague ...The Alluded to Promise of Money for All ....is Always a Lie and Offers Little in the Way of "Reconciling " anything , Promises are like the triggers ..like a Battered Wife's Hope of "He won't do it again " ....Only Together Collectively ..Who Knows Why ? Too Many and More of us Revert to Bad Old Self Destructive Behaviours , Isolate and Relive it all ...For Weeks.. . Depression is the Commonality ...Grief is Our bond ...Suicide is welcoming ..the Social Agencies are a Joke ...They Made the Wounds ....They Know Enough Not to Let You Heal ....They Worry about Invisible Days of Rage ....They Hide Behind Walls , and Protection Agencies ..and Host "Invite only " Events ..Spew the Company Line to the few Select "Dignitaries" , a Few Quick Photo Ops with a Victim or 2,, a Congratulatory Meet and Greet ,and then Continue with their Mission .as per the Status Quo .....So once again locked Down ....With More Affected ...Yep a Fine Legacy They've Left , ..Shattered, and Suffering people , Broken Community, Gruesome Grinding Poverty and ad nauseum more ...Except We have Each Other....People say they were Born for the Movement....but the Movement was Born for Us....It Brought Hope ..Strength and Spirit ..to the Broken ..It Still Does ...on July 28 , 2018 The American Indian Movement  Became  50 years old .....We made a Family of our Own....
