Waltzing slow with razor blades
Giving gum to King of Spades
Soybean syrup o’er flaky bread
Worms are crawling in his head
Trees of purple block the shade
The moon will set as evening fades
Golden glow for eyes of glass
As zephyrs kiss the sun-warmed grass
Owls and dogs are flying North
As mice and cats both sally forth
The sun will sink in chocolate seas
A rain is come of blue split peas
Wisdom, fled, is out of reach
Your mind is blank from idle breach
Don’t wear too thin the grip you hold
You’ll slip into a crazed cold.
