Quiet adventures in ceramics

I started to learn ceramics in 2017 with a short course on tile-making at Potclays in Stoke-on-Trent.  Later in 2017 I started evening classes to learn some more about hand-making.  

Yesterday, my first cup was finally glaze-fired.  The great pleasure of drinking from a cup I'd made myself was unexpected.

The cup is a coil pot, in warm terracotta stoneware, with black glaze and clear-glazed textured finger-indentations.
